Presentatie Presentation		De Rijn - een onderzoek naar de kwaliteit van leven Van 1990 tot en met 1992 onderzocht Tine Wilde wat wij verstaan onder het concept levenskwaliteit in een reis langs de Rijn, slagader van Europa. Vier standplaatsen koos zij daarbij als werkplek: Schaffhausen, Straatsburg, Keulen en Rotterdam. In deze presentatie wordt verslag gedaan van het verloop van dit onderzoek en worden de resultaten gepresenteerd. Het bleek een confrontatie van de mens met zijn afval te zijn, met de politieke macht, met industrie en bureaucratie, en met de confrontatie van culturen. The River Rhine - in search of life quality From 1990 until 1992 Tine Wilde investigated the notion of life quality through a journey along the River Rhine, artery of Europe. She chose four places to work: Schaffhausen, Strasbourg, Cologne and Rotterdam. In this presentation, she will give a detailed account of her experiences on this journey and she will discuss the artistic results. The inquiries turned out to be inquiries into the confrontation of men with his waste, into the normativity of political power, into matters concerning industry and bureaucracy, and into the clash of cultures.
