De 4de Dimensie. Wittgenstein over kleur en verbeeldingskracht In deze lezing bespreek ik om te beginnen de kleuren-octaeder en de plaats die dit geidealiseerd model inneemt met betrekking tot de opmerkingen over kleurconcepten in Remarks on Colour (RC). Vervolgens onderzoek ik de notie van 'aspecten zien' in het licht van de kleuren-octaeder en RC. Van daaruit leg ik een verbinding met On Certainty. Door de opmerkingen over kleur, aspecten zien en zekerheid met elkaar te verbinden, kan duidelijk worden dat de onderzoekingen van Wittgenstein naar kleur en zekerheid ons in de richting van een reflexieve dynamiek en een antropologische interpretatie van zijn ideeën sturen. Wittgenstein on colour and imagination In this lecture I first discuss the colour-octahedron and the position of this model as an idealised system with respect to the remarks on colour-concepts in Remarks on Colour (RC). Next, I examine the notion of 'seeing aspects' in the light of the colour-octahedron and RC. From there a connection is made with On Certainty. By linking the remarks on colour, seeing aspects and certainty, it may become clear that the investigations of Wittgenstein concerning colour and certainty direct us towards a reflective dynamics and an anthropological interpretation of his ideas. |
